Unique property in fabulous location, immediate access to local amenities, tastefully decorated, good facilities, quirky and great fun, super clean.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and stunning views of the harbor. the location was excellent, with restaurants and bars within walking distance. the staff was friendly and the overall experience created special memories for our group.

Felt great, no reason to complain.

The accommodation on the barge was a unique and interesting experience. We enjoyed the novelty of staying on a barge in the harbor and the lovely views it offered. The room itself was clean, roomy, and had a comfortable bed. We also appreciated the chairs by the window, allowing us to sit and admire the changing harbor scenery. it was a great location for a memorable stay.

There were a few minor issues that could be improved. The shower head in our room was not attached to the wall, making it inconvenient to take a shower.

I had a wonderful overnight stay on The Barge in Tarbert. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well-equipped, with comfy beds and stunning views across the harbor. I loved the unique experience of staying on a boat and being able to look out over the water from my bed. The location was excellent, with restaurants and bars just a few minutes' walk away. I highly recommend this hotel.

I booked the Barge as a surprise for my family, wanting something different from a typical hotel stay. From the outside, the barge didn't look impressive, but the interior was a different story. the rooms were beautifully decorated and well-equipped, with a high standard of furnishings. They were also very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. One room was spacious with a lovely sitting area, while the other, although slightly smaller, was just as nicely decorated with stairs leading down into the room. I especially loved being able to lie in bed and look out over the water, with the lights of the harbor and marina creating a mesmerizing view. our overnight stay on the barge was filled with special memories. Cons: Could not be improved in any way. 😊.

Fantastic location right on the quayside with a great selection of bars and restaurants nearby. the view from the room was amazing, especially watching the swans swim past the window. the room was spacious and the walk-in shower was superb.

There were a few issues that really affected our stay. the damp in the room was really bad, causing a strong smell that lingered in our hair and clothes.

had a wonderful romantic weekend in Tarbert, and the Barge exceeded our expectations! The location was fantastic, with swans visiting our window in the morning. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had beautiful views of the harbor. We even enjoyed a delicious breakfast at a nearby cafe.

We had a unique and quirky experience staying on the barge in Tarbert. the interior was stylish, clean, and surprisingly spacious. the comfortable bed and good shower added to the overall enjoyable stay. the location was excellent, with cafes and pubs just across the road, and plenty of street parking available. the views from the barge were lovely, especially being able to look out over the water and see the harbour lights while lying in bed. we had a wonderful and memorable overnight stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of the village with cozy cafes and eateries just steps away. the room was surprisingly spacious and clean, exceeding our expectations. the comfortable bed and nice shower were a welcome relief after a long day.

It would have been better if there was someone available at check, in and check, out.

There was a lingering damp smell in the bathroom that was slightly off-putting.
